Though the Mountains Quake

in Doubt/Fear God's Care

Hey this is Ron Moore with today's Bible Minute.

Sometimes we experience what might be called an earthquake of the soul: our world is shaken. Yet when these inevitable times occur, we can stand strong. Really? Can we stand strong?

The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 46:1-3 that, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging."

God is our shelter of protection. God alone is our refuge and strength, and He is ever-present. People will come and go. But our God will never leave us, will never forsake us.
