My Strength My Shield

in Doubt/Fear Faith/Trust

Ever feel like you don't measure up? Ever feel like life's assignment is beyond your skill level? Hey this is Ron Moore with the Bible Minute.

In Psalm 28:1 David readily admits he doesn't have what it takes. If God didn't come to his aid, and quick, he concluded, "I will be like those who go down to the pit"

Real adequacy--the ability to meet each challenge and opportunity of life--must come from the Lord. Listen to how David finishes his prayer in Psalm 28:7: "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him."

What do you need to trust God for today? That's the real question, isn't it?
